Once a month, we gather together in a space in West Philly that can fit up to 60 people to watch a movie and talk about it. We generally focus on recent dvd releases of foreign, independent, and documentary films. After watching the film together, we have a discussion which usually lasts about 50 minutes. It's been great to meet people from so many different backgrounds and see the value that diversity adds to our group and discussions. Javaflix is a free event.

Welcome to KYB Studio!!! This group is intended to support those who are interested in the film and photography industry. Cinémathèque is a repertory foreign film program curated by an independent media art collective. Conceived to be hands-on and intimate, screenings are coordinated at various designated venues within Center City Philadelphia. The intention of these screenings is to expand the discussion surrounding international film language.

This group is intended for those who have some "experience" with movie making. It is not intended for professionals but for those who have the camera (video or DSLR) and want to be involved in the planning, writing, shooting, editing, and music production necessary to end up with both a personal and a group film.
